The queen of tidying up is back with a new book, and she’s here to help spark joy in your career. The esteemed author, Netflix star, and organizing hero has recently announced a new book on her Instagram entitled Joy at Work: Organizing Your Professional Life. The KonMari Method has proven itself a formidable technique in helping everyday people tidy up, organize, and clear the clutter in their homes, which helps clear their minds, and even their lives.
Now, the tidying up maven has set her sights on helping people declutter their work lives. With millennials being dubbed the “burnout generation”, her book couldn’t have come at a more perfect time for stressed out professionals looking to improve their routines.

I’m thrilled to reveal the cover of “Joy at Work,” written in collaboration with business professor @scott.sonenshein. This book offers stories, studies and strategies to help you eliminate clutter and make space for work that really matters. Coming Spring 2020, but I had to give you a sneak peek! ?
According to the sneak peek Marie offered on her Instagram, “[Joy at Work] offers stories, studies, and strategies to help you eliminate clutter and make space for work that really matters.” Along with Marie, Joy at Work is also co-authored by organizational psychologist and Rice University business professor, Scott Sonenshein. Sounds like a dream-team to us!
You can expect the book to hit the shelves in the first quarter of 2020, which is perfect to help us all with our spring cleaning.
If you’re waiting with bated breath on the joy-sparking wisdom this book might have for you, here’s the official synopsis from Amazon:
“The workplace is a magnet for clutter and mess. Who hasn’t felt drained by wasteful meetings, disorganized papers, endless emails, and unnecessary tasks? These are the modern-day hazards of working, and they can slowly drain the joy from work, limit our chances of career progress, and undermine our well-being.
There is another way…
Using the world-renowned KonMari Method and cutting-edge research, Joy at Work will help you overcome the challenges of workplace mess and enjoy the productivity, success, and happiness that comes with a tidy desk and mind.”
