FUNDamentals returns on PLUS Network for Season 3!

On May 9, the Philippines held its general elections, which elected national, provincial, and local officials all over the country. Aside from the President and Vice President, other positions that were also up for grabs included seats in the Senate, House of Representatives, governors, mayors, and many more.

With the elections over, the country recently welcomed a new set of public officials, led by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte. The result of the elections is not something that we can still control, as it has already been decided. But what can ordinary Filipino citizens control? What can they do to help change the country aside from exercising their right to vote in the next elections?

This is the question that registered financial planner (US-based global certification) Edric Mendoza answered in the new episode of the third season of FUNDamentals on Plus Network. In the episode, Mendoza said that paying our taxes is one thing that Filipinos can do to help our country. But paying our taxes also depends on the nature of our work, whether we are employed in a company, a business owner, or a freelancer, which will sometimes require the help of an accountant.

Mendoza answers the important questions that we may have about paying our taxes, how we can do it, and why it is important in the episode, which is now available for viewing on Plus Network’s social media platforms.

Watch out for more episodes of FUNDamentals, which will answer all your questions about personal finance and will help you better handle your money.
